Training Objectives

By the end of this workbook, you will be able to:

  1. Identify and name your emotions.
  2. Locate your emotions in your body.
  3. Recognize the metaphors you most use to describe your emotions. 
  4. Transform your negative emotions with the aid of metaphors. 

Sample Workbook Pages

Each exercise begins by prompting an emotion via a stanza from one of the stories in I Know Me. An example is then provided to demonstrate both identifying your emotion, and transforming negative to positive via the LDT™ process (Locate, Describe & Transform™).

Through a simple search and circle, you identify your own emotions and locate them in your body. The skeleton models give you a visual way of locating your stress or tension. Write out your description and transformation to finish the process. The end of each exercise offers “behind the scenes” teaching tips.
