Are your emotions interfering with your decisions? Go behind-the-scenes with a look at the Emotions Awareness & Transformation videos.
Emotions Awareness and LDT™
Hi, my name is Karen and this video is about explaining to you how the four times a week intensity, stress, and conflict transformation videos work. The point is to show you how Locate, Describe & Transform™ – LDT™ as I call it – bridges your intellect – the facts of what you know is going on for you – with your intuition – that’s what you know when you don’t try to think – by locating in your body, describing the imagery that comes to you, and transforming the negative emotions that are leading you off track.
The Process
Your Emotions Radar Detectors: The Metaphors
When you watch the videos, you’re going to see a particular process. First, I went through 52 weeks of metaphors: when they came to my mind, I just wrote them down; I didn’t try and order them in any particular order.
Emotions Catalogued: The Intensity-Complexity Grid
Once I had the metaphor for the week, I built out the intensity grid and got imagery to match that intensity. Each week there’s going to be an extreme intensity, a high intensity, a medium intensity, and a low intensity video.
Extreme intensity means you’re wrapped up in the conflict. You’re going to feel that imagery wrapped around your organs. It’s going to be tough to breathe. You might have stomach cramps and so forth.
High intensity is more of a direct impact. It’s not inside of you, but it is pressing right against you.
Medium intensity, stress or conflict, you’re starting to feel the pressure. If you’re using your hands and your arms, they’d be maybe a 45 degree angle at the elbow, halfway away from your body, with your hands held up to try and keep the pressure away from you. Both hands are probably up in the air.
Low intensity stress or conflict means you’re keeping it at bay. You might have one arm fully extended in a stop sign, and you’re keeping everything as far away from you as possible, or you’re not keeping it away, it just hasn’t approached you yet.
After I picked the intensity for each of the four of them and found the imagery, I went to the stress intensity cards that I created. There’s a choice of eleven: Zero complexity right up through low, medium, high, and extreme complexity. Complexity speaks to how many issues are involved in the stress or conflict. How many people are involved?
I went through for each of the intensities, went through the 11 cards, shuffled, picked one for each week, and again went through 52 weeks. So all of this is very random.
Summary
- We have 52 weeks of metaphors.
- We have four videos per week for the intensity.
- We have one complexity card per video.
- And then I top that off with a Whimsical Tarot card.
Brought To Life: The Characters
I don’t read tarot. I’m not a tarot reader at all. I’m intuitive. What I do like about the Whimsical Tarot cards is they’re based on fairy tales and myths that are fairly common, or were in my childhood within my culture.
So they’re the characters or the triggers, if you will, that can help me to tell an intuitive story to show you how, within your own life, you can Locate, Describe & Transform™ the negative emotions, to lower your stress or conflict from extreme to high to medium to low. The goal is for you to remove negative emotions or emotions that are taking you off track and make your best decisions.
No Emotions Is No Option
It’s probably important to point out here that you cannot, nor would you ever want to, completely remove emotions. Emotions are a critical part of your decision making. But you want them working with you, with your intuition, with your intellect, with a calm physical body to make healthy decisions.
So you’re not trying to keep emotions out of the decision making – that in fact becomes an emotion in itself. Ultimately, you’re looking for balance. Balanced decision making between all aspects, your: physical self, emotional self, intellectual self, and intuitive self. This gives you the best decision that allows you for your healthiest action in any moment.
